the main thing to know about the weather in minyak is:
it is unpredictable!!!!
Just a short warning for the ones who don't like to get wet: there is a quite heavy rainseason in our region that can start as early as mid june ( this year ) and last until somewhere in september.
This year, after a dry spring, we had heavy rains and thunderstorms for the last nearly 3 weeks, so that the rivers came high, brigdes were destroyed, and some areas there are landslides again.
last year august was fine, september wet again, looking forward what happens this year.
if you are not watershy end of june and july are a good time to explore all the wonderful flowers we have up here and take part in some festivals or see some horse races.
if you are looking for the more sunny times august or sometimes september/october could be the months for you. or the real dry and blue sky time between end of november and about mid of february!
as like everywhere in mountainous regions, the temperatures can raise and fall very fast, could be you where a long underwear and jacket in the morning and sandals and t-shirt for lunch....
